Traditional Cakes

Traditionally designed cakes are made using our exclusive fruit cake recipe or, alternatively, you could choose from our extensive range of flavours and fillings. Most cakes can be decorated with marzipan and soft icing, and then dressed with fresh flowers between the tiers to compliment the bride’s flowers or a cascade of our handmade sugar flowers to co-ordinate with your wedding theme.

Chocolate Cakes

If a traditional fruit cake with sugar icing is not for you, why not try something wickedly tempting instead and opt for a Cake Box Chocolate Creation? We can work in any colour of chocolate to suit your requirements. Our chocolate cakes are layered with dark or white ganache or with butter cream filling. Each cake can also be liberally laced with alcohol, or for a simply stunning dessert we can decorate your cake with an array of delicious seasonal fresh fruit. Limoncello Cake

This extravagant creation is the ideal centrepiece for a Spring or Summer wedding and an excellent choice for dessert. The soft sponge is laced with the Italian Limoncello Liqueur and has a delicate lemon filling; the combination is a welcome and delicious texture on the tongue. The finished decoration would look and taste equally good in sugar paste or wafer-thin ruffles of white chocolate. Fresh flowers and deep green foliage would complete this delightful cake.

Red Velvet Cake

This exquisite, elegant and moist cake has vampy red layers contrasting with snowy white frosting with a delicate chocolatey taste. While a year round favourite, the white and red colour scheme makes this cake particularly well suited for Christmas and Valentine’s day weddings. An excellent choice for a tower of cupcakes and marshmallow frosting!

Tiramisu Wedding Cake

Tiramisu is an Italian classic cake and has become a popular choice for the modern wedding.

A light sponge cake or Savoiardi fingers delicately flavoured with espresso coffee and Marsala liqueur and layered with a luxurious filling of mascarpone cheese and white or milk chocolate ganache gives a distinct, sophisticated appeal. The finished decoration will look and taste equally good adorned with Savoiardi sponge fingers or sheets of delicate white or dark chocolate, fresh fruit or we could simply follow the traditional design of a dusting of coco powder. This cake is perfect for a desert and tiers can be assembled on a cake stand.
